101 in 1001

Here is my current Day Zero Project list! I will be updating it regularly so be sure to check back often and see what I’ve done!

The Goals:

1. Write a letter to myself to be opened when the 1001 days are over

2. Set a goal weight and reach it

3. Take a zumba class (Completed 2/6/12)

4. Work out four times a week for a month

5. Run a mile nonstop!

6. Run a 5K

7. Put on makeup and do my hair every work day of a month

8. Do yoga three times a week for a month

9. Eat fruit every day for a month

10. Go to the dentist every six months for a cleaning (1/5)

11. Give up pop for a month

12. Wake up early every day for a week and go for a 30 minute walk

13. No fast food for a month

14. Spend a half hour in meditation every day for two weeks

15. Take a dance class

16. Water consumption! 64 oz of water a day for a month

17. Get a massage

18. Keep a food diary for a month

19. Floss every day for a month

20. Once a month coffee dates with myself (3/33)

21. Renew my first aid / cpr certificate

22. Stop biting my nails

23. Get a makeover

24. Grow my hair long enough to donate it

25. Visit four states I have never been to as a tourist (0/4)

26. Go on a road trip (Completed 5/10/12)

27. Go to Harry Potter world

28. Go on a cruise

29. Have a picnic at a park

30. Take a trip with my sister

31. Skype with my mom once a month (3/33)

32. Skype dates with friends once a month (3/33)

33. Buy a new phone (Completed 12/12/11)

34. Spend a weekend at the beach (Completed 5/10/12)

35. Get my Masters degree

36. Stick to my planner for an entire semester—no procrastinating!

37. Publish an article

38. Have three poster presentations

39. Attend a national conference

40. Find a church that feels like home (Complete 11/13/11)

41. Become involved in youth ministries

42. Join a small group that will help my growth

43. Complete a Bible study

44. Read 100 books (3/100)

45. Carve a pumpkin

46. Go to a musical

47. Go to a concert

48. Go to a comedy club

49. Attend a college football game

50. Attend a college basketball game

51. Go camping

64. Make a tee-shirt quilt of sorority tees

65. Crochet a blanket for my bed

66. Bake 50 new recipes (5/50)

68. Complete a counted cross stitch project

69. Color and complete a coloring book

70. Spend a weekend unplugged with only books and music

71. Set up a budget and stick with it for 6 months

72. Track everything I spend for a month

73. Pay off credit card debt

74. Set up a savings account

75. Put an entire paycheck into savings

76. Take $100 to a casino and gamble with it

77. Go through my clothes once a year and donate anything that I don’t wear or it doesn’t fit (0/3)

78. Grow a plant

79. Go a week without buying anything

80. Spend cash only (paper money) for a month

81. Blog three days a week for three months

82. Learn every single word to 10 new songs

83. Spend 15 minutes cleaning my room each night for a month

84. Get 8 hours of sleep every night for two weeks straight.

85. Take a picture of a rainbow

86. Document the completion of each goal (5/101)

87. Buy flowers for someone just because

88. Do laundry once a week for three months

89. Buy living room furniture (Completed 1/10/12)

90. Go skiing

91. Send out Christmas cards

92. Start an ornament collection and buy a special ornament each year (0/3)

93. Send a “just because” card twice a year to someone who has had an impact on my life. (0/5)

94. Visit dinosaur world

95. Watch 10 movies at the movie theater (2/10)

96. Watch all seasons of Lost

97. Update 101 List on Blog once a month (2/33)

98. Take a full body self-portrait once a month (2/33)

99. Wake up by 8:30 am every day for two months

100. Write down my current favorite song at the end of each month and make a playlist at the end of 101. (3/33)

101. Create a second 101 list at the end of the 1001 days.

I am in love with these. Also, I’ve been to Harry Potter World TWICE if you want to see any pictures or get any travel tips!!!! Or, you know, wanna head over and explore it with a stranger, that would be cool, too. I am not at all above going many many maaaaany more times. ;-)
